At MCACHEM, we are aware that our activities and the operations under our roof may affect the health and safety of our employees and guests. Preventing occupational accidents and diseases and reducing them to a minimum is therefore our top priority. To achieve these goals, ensure continuity by creating a safe working environment and support all preventive activities, our Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Policy sets out the following basic requirements:

  • Carrying out risk analyses for accidents and emergencies that may occur during our activities, and planning and implementing measures that minimise environmental damage should they occur.
  • Ensuring the health, safety and social welfare of employees, visitors and subcontractors at every level by taking into account the environmental and human impact of the raw materials and technologies chosen for our production processes, and reducing any material or moral losses that may arise for them and their families in the future.
  • Meeting the legal requirements and the conditions set by the relevant parties for production and other activities.
  • Identifying in advance the aspects that may cause environmental pollution and taking the necessary measures on site and on time.
  • Reducing our waste, recycling it for beneficial use and minimising the negative environmental impact of waste that cannot be recovered.
  • Complying with the environmental legislation in force in our country and with company environmental policy procedures by establishing legal compliance assessment processes.
  • Reducing the consumption of resources such as water, gas and electricity used in our activities through efficient working methods.

With all of the above requirements in mind, the MCACHEM management team and managers are responsible for implementing this policy, ensuring the continuity of the environmental management system, and enhancing our company’s reputation by improving our performance in these areas.
