Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate

Copper sulphate is used for agricultural purposes such as pesticides, germicides, feed additives and soil additives. Secondary uses include a raw material for other copper compounds, a reagent in analytical chemistry, an electrolyte for batteries and electroplating baths, and a locally applied fungicide, bactericide and astringent in medicine.
